Foreign economy relations of town with other countries are expanding consistently. There are more than 100 joint enterprises working in our town, which carry out export-import operations with partners from 88 different countries of the world. A foreign trade turnover of goods and services during January-September is estimated at 71384,30 thousand US dollars, including export of goods - 40872,83 thousand US dollars, or 57,3% of the overall volume; an import - 30511,47 thousand of US dollars (42% of the overall volume).
In comparison with the same period of last year the overall turnover of foreign trade increased to 25,3%, including the export of goods - 27,6%, the import - 46,2%.
The export volume of goods to СIS countries estimated at 11953,43 thousand of US dollars (29,2% of the overall export), the import - 5653,75 thousand of US dollars (18,5% of the overall import). A Russian Federation is staying a basic trade partner of the city - a relation with it is about 21,5% of overall foreign trade of Sevastopol. Volumes of export to other countries of the world is estimated at 28919,40 thousand of US dollars (70,8% of the overall export), the import - 24857,72 thousand of US dollars (81,5% of the overall import).
The largest volumes of export were to Russian Federation - 27,3% of the overall general exporting volume, India - 19,8%, USA - 10,9%, Netherlands - 6,8%, Mauritania - 5,0%, Germany - 4,7%, New Zealand - 3,6%, Bahamas - 2,5%, Maraca - 2,5%.

- fish and fishproducts (2,1%).
During January – September of 2003 from CIS countries to Sevastopol were imported 18,5% of all goods, from other countries of the world - 81,5% (January – September of 2002 - 44,2% and 55,8% accordingly).

During first nine months of 2003 the majority of import was from Russian Federation – 13,7%, USA – 13,3%, Greece – 11,3%, Germany –7,8%, Indonesia – 7,6%, Cyprus – 7,1%, France – 6,8%, Turkey – 4,9%.
In overall import volumes of goods 21,6% are electric machines and equipment, its parts; 19,4% - machines and equipment; 14,5 % - coffee, tea and spices; 9,0% - goods made of iron; 6,6% - paper, cardboard, plastic and goods made of them; 4,8% - polymers, plastics and goods made of it; 4,5% - iron; 3,6% - fish and fish products, mollusk and other invertebrates; 1,8% - goods made of gypsum; 1,8% - apparatus.
